What the app stores
Guitar Chord Colors stores saved open chord loops, selected color tones, and practice settings on your device so the app works without an account or cloud sync.
Privacy policy
Your saved color loops are designed to stay on your device. No account, ads, cloud sync, or subscription. Effective June 9, 2026.
Guitar Chord Colors stores saved open chord loops, selected color tones, and practice settings on your device so the app works without an account or cloud sync.
The app plays chord sounds locally so you can compare plain and colored versions of a progression. It does not need microphone access to provide the core practice workflow.
When Guitar Chord Colors launches, it is planned to offer a free 3-day trial and a $9.99 lifetime unlock through Apple in-app purchase. Purchases, trials, refunds, and billing will be handled by Apple.
The app may use limited anonymous PostHog analytics for the trial and lifetime unlock screen so we can understand whether the purchase flow is working. These events do not include your saved loops, custom progressions, or practice history.
We do not sell your data, share your practice history with advertisers, or use analytics for ad tracking.
If you contact support, we use the information you send only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue you describe.
